Welcome to Indiana Academy

Indiana Academy is a Christian, private high school dedicated not only to the academic development of the mind and body, but also the soul.  Owned and managed by the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Indiana Academy is one of 50+ similar academies in United States and Canada and is under the direction of the Department of Education.  Students from surrounding states and several international countries attend this boarding academy for grades nine through twelve.  Class sizes are small with focused attention from our dedicated teachers and staff.  Indiana Academy has a graduation rate of over 95% and most of our graduates continue on to complete a college degree.  All academy students are encouraged to learn practical work skills and many work opportunities are offered, both on campus and off.  Our primary focus is to prepare our students for service in this world, and in the world to come.  We believe that the work of education and the work of redemption are one.

Testimonials

I'm forever grateful to the staff and supporters of IA for the expeirences I gained while attending IA. I've made lifelong friends, learned from the best teachers about math, science, and english, and most of all, IA gave me the opportunity to know God better. I just graduated a month ago, and I already miss it!

Indiana Academy means alot to me because it is a big part of my history. I am a fourth-generation student, and my parents moved back to Indiana just so I could come to this school. But more importantly, IA is where I finally gave myself completely to my Savior. As a senior, I am determined to share the love God has shown me with anyone and everyone at school. Everyone is equal in God's eyes, and that should be the same for us. I have felt very loved at my school, and it has helped make me into the man I am today.

My experience at IA was a God-given blessing. I'd especially like to commend the teachers and the hard work they did. It's not easy being a teacher to a bunch of teenagers, but when you're assigned to supervise them after school hours, during mealtimes, and weekends ... well, it obviously doesn't get any easier. But the teachers at IA were especially caring and had a genuine love for all the students.
